 Dry Stone Canada Irish-Canadian Festival 2015This solar construct was designed by John Bland a dry stone waller and sculptor based in Ontario. John is a member of Dry Stone Canada. he designed the solar alignment for the Amherst Island Irish-Canadian Dry Stone Festival 2015. Designed by EarthStone. The stone is a local 'ironstone' sandstone. It was had picked and the standing stones installed in advance of the workshop. EarthStone and the participants built the wall together over 2 days.. |
